Day 1: What has been your most memorable moment in 2011?   

The time Abba, Nadine, Meena and I road tripped to Torquay (i.e. last week lol). The main reason it’s my ‘most memorable moment’ is because it’s something that happened recently; my memory doesn’t extend very far..

It took quite a long time to drive there but it was definitely worth it. Torquay is so pretty and clear and I like waves.. to be honest I really didn’t want to get in the water at first. But they were adamant I get in, and not just like knee deep but actually dunk my face into the water. 

“You’re my best friend, after all we’ve been through, do it for me… put your head into the water”

…. What is wrong with the people I hang out with LOL. 

I wanted to find shells to take home but there were hardly any. Meena and I managed to find a few pretty shells though :) Wish there’d been more; beaches in canberra had heaaaaps of nice shells. From what I remember anyway (must have been at least 10 years ago). 

I put on so much sunscreen that day, but I forgot a bit of my back and I told Meena but he did the whole “suck it up, princess” routine on me again. And now I have the ugliest bit of tanned skin on my back that contrasts very strongly with my normal pale skin colour. 

I had lots and lots fun though; it was definitely one of the best days of 2011. :)
